Co Junior League Group 4 Final

Kilcummin 1-7  Glenbeigh / Glencar 1-10

Played in Beaufort our Junior players failed to complete an excellent campaign by capturing the title but this game was in doubt to the final whistle. A great passing movement by Tommy Brosnan, Daniel Moynihan, and Daniel Kelly was rounded off in style by Shane Smyth to the opponents net and set up a grandstand finish. However G /G were the stronger and more experienced team and hung on for a second title in a row. We trailed 5 points to 4 at half time with Gavin O Leary, Chris Keane and Mikey O Shea getting the points. The second half scorers were Mikey O Shea 0-2 and a further Chris Keane free but apart from the goal we found it difficult to penetrate the opponents defence. Well done to all the players and management who gave a great commitment throughout the county league and East Kerry competitions.

Team  Tommy Brosnan, Chris Keane, Daniel Moynihan, Eric O Connor, Eoin Guillfoyle, Anthony O Sullivan, Gavin O Leary, Shane Snyth, Michael O Neill, Mikey O Shea, Chris Keane, Paul O Riordan, Dean Cronin, Daniel Kelly, Jer Sheehan, Subs used Tommy Cooper, Jake Moynihan, Oscar O Connor

Management  S. B. Doherty, Tommy Cooper, Alan Doolan.
